The unprecedented encounter between three artisanal crafts , and three exceptional Houses – Lancome, Baccarat and Reuge, gave rise to La vie est belle L’Édition Féerique, a collector’s dream and a contemporary version of the fabulous gifts that are part of the history of luxury: an entirely handcrafted music box housing the flacon with its crystal smile at the heart of glass vases set one over the other.
Lancôme is one my favorite cosmetics brands and their lipsticks are simply amazing! When I decided I was old and girly enough to wear make up at the age of 14 (I didn’t want to before as I was a proper tomboy!) my mom took me to the Lancôme counter and I chose my first make up goodies, a blue-gris eye pencil, mascara and of course lipstick!
Sparkle and shine has never been more in fashion and I feel like a moth drawn to the flame as the more sparkle and sequin I see in clothes and make up the more I want them all – and wear them all together at the same time! Probably not the best idea. My favorites for now are the Dazzle Shades from Lancome.
Ever since his childhood spent between Salt Lake City and Taipei, designer and illustrator Andrew Yang has fostered a discerning sense of style. He began his career as a costume designer at the Salt Lake City Opera House – while he was still in high school! This eventually led him to join New York’s renowned Fashion Institute of Technology, before honing his skills at Proenza Schouler.
The international press launch of « La vie est belle », the new women’s fragrance by Lancôme, was held on May 2nd, with almost 300 international guests. The event took place in the south of France, just a few miles from Monaco, in the prestigious setting of Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild.
