I wasn’t very fond of rose based perfumes in the past but lately I have begun to explore more this delicate flower and of course one of the most famous perfumes based on rose is Paris by YSL.

It has been a while since we talked about our boys so I thought we’d treat them with a couple of great new perfumes. And with father’s day approaching fast we all need to think of a present for our precious ones and what better to give than a perfume! Calvin Klein and Loewe Solo Palatinum are in the agenda today!

LÓccitane is a brand that I absolutely adore for the body creams and shower gels and their lovely Cherry Blossom perfume so when they launched a new perfume line I rushed to try them. It is called “The Grasse collection” as a tribute to the capital city of perfumery and unites the most precious ingredients from lands near and far, bringing them together in a beautiful harmony.

It is no secret that every year I impatiently wait for the new Guerlain Aqua Allegoria release. Mr Wasser takes upon a flower each year and gives us his own beautiful interpretation. In his words:

Sometimes it gets a bit hard to keep up with new perfume releases especially if they are limited edition ones and you know that you will have a very difficult time trying to have “enough” stock of it if it becomes your favorite, but Jo Malone’s release are very hard to resist.

It wasn’t long ago when I wrote about the new Van Cleef & Arpels Feerie perfume release and now they are launching Reve, a new fragrance for women, in May 2013. Reve combines notes of fruits and white flowers that give almost oriental character.
