What Is Health?

Health is a multifaceted concept that encompasses a person’s physical, mental and social well-being. While most people think of health as the absence of disease, it is more than just that. They also include an assumption that a person has the necessary resources to function effectively and in a manner that respects their personal dignity.

When writing a health article, it is important to remember that most readers are looking for something practical and helpful. They are not interested in enormous, overarching plans or advice. They are expecting a genuine tone and voice from the author, and will easily dismiss an artificial or condescending one.
