The Philosophy of Beauty

A beautiful person is someone that is very attractive to look at. The definition of beauty is very subjective and can be influenced by many different factors. A person can be beautiful if they have a good looking face, body or if they are young and healthy. It can also be influenced by fashion trends and what is popular in the media. In the twentieth century and into the twenty-first, beauty has become a central motif in art by women. It has been a means of feminist resistance and affirmation. It has also been used to critique patriarchy and objectification of women’s bodies.

There are many ways to describe a beautiful object, but it can be broken down into the following categories: a pleasant appearance, harmony and proportion, and elegance.
