Mac Make Up 2011: A new collaboration with Gareth Pugh
The avant garde London based designer Gareth Pugh collaborates with Mac for this new limited edition make up collection that will hit the stores on November 23rd and will be available until the 23rd of December.
Gareth, known for his geometric and ultra futuristic designs, has created a line “on the dark side”, with cream and pigmented eye shadows, blushes, nail polishes, lip glosses, eye pencils, lipsticks, a make up bag, and last but not least a pair of false eyelashes made to be used by only the bravest of us.
Let me just say that I expected something a bit more edgy from the “it” designer of the season. The collection reminds me too much of the Burberry packaging…
Check it out:

wow! a make up kit made for Adam’s Family:-))) Lol! still, i wouldnt dare to use the eye lashes…or maybe perhaps only on Halloween:-))))
All so black! Why; reminds me of Swan Lake
@vaso: Yes, yes… Swan Lake!! You are sooooo right!!
Very nice black and white concept, yes I agree it is very Swan lake and I like the fact that it is not gold/red like almost every other brand.
Black and white? Ohhhhh I love it!!!
I’m addicted to MAC!… and this Collection is just perfect! The only thing I would’t buy is the lashes! No, not for me!
Scary………….
wow!!! I love it!!!!
I love edgy makeup but only from the artistic point. It’s something that I will look at but will never actually wear. That being said, I think that this is one of the most interesting recent mac campaigns: seductive, dark, futuresque.
Very very nice….!
